How To Hard Reset Infinix Smart 5 (X657) Remove Screen Lock Pattern/Pin/Password | Infinix Smart 5 Factory Reset

What is Hard Reset ??

Hard Reset (Factory Reset) is a process that deletes all the data from your phone documents, pictures, downloaded application and even forgotten passwords (Pattern/Pin/Password) will be deleted from your phone if you choose to do a hard reset of your Infinix device, it will be just similar step to do on Phone.

Here is the process for Infinix Smart 5 Hard Reset ! 

• Hold Power Key screen showing power off or restart menu tap on turn off phone will goes to turn off.

• Now hold volume Up & Power Key in same time until phone power on while screen appear infinix logo release power key & keep holding volume up key.

• After this as you can see here now phone is successfully enter into recovery mode

• Now hold power key 1st then hit volume up key one sec to bring recovery menu

• Once you are in recovery mode. Now you will not be able to use the  touchpad. Use the volume button to go up and down and power button to select a chosen option for ok.

• Your screen will have few options, from the recovery menu now choose ‘Wipe Data/factory reset’. using volume key

• Press the power button to select Wipe Data/factory reset
•  Reboot system now
•  Reboot to bootloader
•  Apply update from ADB
•  Apply update from SD card
•  Wipe data/factory reset 
•  Wipe cache partition
•  Mount / system
•  View recovery logs
•  Run graphics test
•  Power off
•  Repair Apps

• Phone will ask Wipe all User Data ??
•  Cancel
•  Factory data reset  

• Press the power button to select Wipe Data.

• And this should start the hard reset process and will deleted all phone data & restore to default settings.

• Now & reboot device
•  Reboot system now 
•  Reboot to bootloader
•  Apply update from ADB
•  Apply update from SD card
•  Wipe data/factory reset
•  Wipe cache partition
•  Mount / system
•  View recovery logs
•  Run graphics test
•  Power off
•  Repair Apps

Phone will start normal mode once the process completes. It does take about 3 -5 minutes and can take more or less time depending on your device capacity.

After few moments phone will showing welcome screen, let's setup phone.

• Tap On Start
• Agree All Terms And Conditions
• Permissions for Samsung Apps And Service Tap Agree
• Connect To Wi-Fi Network if Nedeed (Skip)
• Copy Apps And Data (Don't Copy)
• Date And Time tap (Next)
• Accept Google Services
• Setup Completed
• Enjoy.
